“Another World is Possible”- Longing for ways of relating that offer something more, I find myself returning to spaces where my connections are founded in shared principles and dynamic relationships of all forms are reinvented all the time. Off the grid and out of doors, we find each other on the path or in the hammock, maybe we meet picking up a hammer or in poetry around the fire at night. The meaning made in these encounters carries me throughout the year, in the spaces between and the long strides back in the default world. Orienting to each other in ways that invite challenge and the collectivizing of our care and thought create endless possibilities that can’t be found in the workplace or bars. As if a vital organ or an addiction, I return at any expense to these glimpses of hope seeking to be impressed upon by what we can do with our shared intention and effort.
